Talks & Activities

The Midlands Federation committee are always willing to give talks and demonstrations both to adult organisations and to schools. Children are very enthusiastic and become totally absorbed when they are allowed to use metal detectors on the school fields. The Roman occupation of Britain is a favourite talk and the children love to find the Roman coins we plant and allow them to keep for their school museum. They also find plenty of other items that we haven't planted!
